First Tee Middle School Golf Basic Information:

• Registration is open now and will close on March 10th, 2023
• Matches will begin the week of April 3rd
• Matches are scheduled to start at 4:30pm
• Matches are scheduled to be 4-6 holes depending on the course
• The match schedule will be distributed to the coaches
• Teams play in 2 matches each week
• Maximum of 6 players per team in each match
• The lowest 4 scores per team count toward the team score
• Approximate Yardages for the matches:
  • Par 3:100 – 185 yards
  • Par 4: 200 – 300 yards
  • Par 5: 300+ yards

Player eligibility requirements:

• Players need to have a basic understanding of the game of golf
  • They should be able to play 4-6 holes with no instruction
• Players should be in 6th – 8th grade
• Players are not permitted to have a caddy for the match
• Some schools hold try-outs for the teams, please check with your coach for more information

Registration

Players will be organized into teams where they attend school. When registering please select the school your child attends. If you do not see your school please email [email protected] for additional information

To register, sign into your First Tee Account (if you do not have one, follow the on-screen instructions to create an account) and then select your child’s school.

The cost of the Middle School Golf Leagues is $100. Players will receive an Middle School Golf team shirt. All greens fees are covered by First Tee – Naples/Collier

Team Coaches are a vital part of the program. Coach’s biggest responsibility is coordinating all of the players and matches.
