First Tee Elementary School Golf Basic Information:

• Registration is open now and will close on September 13th, 2023
• Matches will begin the week of October 9th
• Matches are scheduled to start at 4:30pm
• Matches are scheduled to be 4-6 holes depending on the course
• The match schedule will be distributed to the coaches
• Teams play in 2 matches each week
• Maximum of 6 players per team in each match
• The lowest 4 scores per team count toward the team score
• Approximate Yardages for the matches:
  • Par 3: 65-100 yards
  • Par 4: 135 – 160 yards
  • Par 5: 175 – 200 yards

Player eligibility requirements:

• Players need to have a basic understanding of the game of golf
  • They should be able to play 4-6 holes with minimal instruction
• Players should be in 2nd – 5th grade
• Players are required to have a caddy for the match
  • Parents, guardian, family members are eligible to caddy
  • Caddies must be able to walk with the player, carry the clubs, help with club selection, help with reading the greens, raking bunkers, etc.
• Some schools hold try-outs for the teams, please check with your coach for more information

Registration

Players will be organized into teams where they attend school. When registering please select the school your child attends. If you do not see your school please email [email protected] for additional information

To register, sign into your First Tee Account (if you do not have one, follow the on-screen instructions to create an account) and then select your child’s school.

The cost of the Elementary School Golf Leagues is $100. Players will receive an Elementary School Golf team shirt. All greens fees are covered by First Tee – Naples/Collier

Team Coaches are a vital part of the program. Coach’s biggest responsibility is coordinating all of the players and matches.
